Acorn - a Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure;
Bob - a Cockatiel;
Cricket - an American Budgie
Bob has started screaming for no reason that I can discern. She will sit on my shoulder quietly and start screaming out of nowhere. She does not seem to be frightened or in distress, just screaming her happieness if I had to guess. Any suggestions.

That could be, that he or she is quite happy, or perhaps he or she is flock calling for a mate???

Also, do you have many outside birds, maybe she hears them and is trying to communicate.

None the less, when my birds start to scream on my shoulder, it's usually because they are calling their buddies and I discourage it by whispering right into their ear if I can. I'm a talker, so my birds are also good talkers and are easily redirected from screaming by wanting to talk and or whistle with me.

Good Luck!

Puck does this sometimes. Sometimes I have to remove him from my shoulder. I usually start with putting my hand gently over his head and saying "ssshhhh!" He's better about it than he used to be, although he still does it.

I think she was being a lazy bird. I put her back on her cage and she quietted up and went to her food.

Could be an alarm call telling you it see's someting out the window moving around that could be potentially dangerous. Could be just happy too like you said.
