Corn has officially been added to Apples "like" list. His list now reads:

Apple
Pear
Corn

Pasta
Boiled Egg White

Congrats! Food by food they become better eaters. Charlie liked peppers (red/yellow/orange) first and then sugar snap peas (cut up, he would eat the peas out of the slices). See if its the same with Apple! It took us about three months or so to get him to start eating veggies. Good luck!

Thank you! I have learned that Apple is a lazy eater and likes his food small enough to where he can hold it in his beak alone. I would also like to add chicken and chicken narrow to the list, I gave him his first bone today and he lived it! I need to try peppers.

He never liked corn before? I don't know of any bird who doesn't like corn.

Just be careful, corn doesn't have a lot of nutritional value. Its more of a filler and can make them overweight (same goes for humans too).

Yay! He is enjoying a nice piece of sweet potato and alfalfa sprouts. Hes ignoring the broccoli, red cabbage, and carrot. Maybe he'll get to those in a bit.
