Scooter speaks with a purpose

It's been about two months since I took in Scooter the CAG. Gradually, she's becoming more talkative, mostly saying phrases like "Hi, Scooter!" in her former owner's voice. Today she said, in my voice, "pretty grey parrot," which I often tell her she is. She also said something in context, and for a good reason. She said "Scooter, you need fresh water." I'd just given her some a few minutes earlier, but I looked and she'd pooped in her water dish. She really did need fresh water.

Scooter already imitating your voice is pretty speedy progress. She must be feeling very comfortable, I'm not at all surprised.
