Hi everyone
we have recently become custodian to Casper because my Mother has moved into a care home.

It wasn't our choice but his. We tried him with three other people but he just made it very clear that Margaret my wife was his new best friend.

He is still not sure about me though, probably because my Dad was not very nice to him. We are complete novices at parrot care but Google has been our lifeline and we learn new things every day.

He lets Margaret pet him and spends a lot of time on her shoulder and in her lap. He was neglected for the last couple of years in a tiny cage tucked out of the way. He now has a much bigger cage which is left open whilst we are around. He is not keen on flying but does climb around the room on the furniture.

He loves having his ears tickled and is usually very good. For the last couple of days he has been a bit fractious and has even pecked Margaret. We presume that this is a seasonal thing but we welcome any advice.
