Saw this

I saw that. I think k it's funny that they are calling the mutation Silver when that means something different in other species. But I think both the opaline and blue mutations are stunning and to see them in the same bird in that species is something incredible! Just to give you an idea of what that exact mutation combo looks like in other birds...

There is some debate over whether yellow-sided is truly opaline, but if it is, then this "turquoise yellow-sided" gcc is actually blue opaline as well.

I find the blues to be kinda crazy to look at. you see it so much less than the Greens. I wonder if a full blue Amazon has ever been spotted

Fun fact; red factor suns originated in Hawaii and it is a fatal mutation. Double factor red suns often (always? I'm not sure how it works) die in the nest.
