So, we were in the living room watching tv last night and it was Sassy's time to be out of her cage. She usually hangs out on top of her cage, or of course, on the kitchen cabinets, singing and talking and carrying on. She all of sudden flew into the living room and landed on the door of the computer stand which is right by where we were sitting! She stayed there for about 20 minutes! She's never done this before. The only time she has ever ventured into the living room is when she was "fleeing" from me when I was trying to get her back in her cage. I didn't want to push it so I didn't try to get her to step up or anything. Taking it as slow as possible. I did go get a pretzel and hold it up with my other arm extended to see if I could get her to land on my arm. She acted like she really wanted to, but not quite there yet.
So anyway, just wanted to share! My husband and I both think this is a huge step for her Needless to say I was very happy!
