Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
Al (Wrench13) asked me to post a picture or two of the Salty perch he so graciously gave Amy in use,so here are a couple. Its easy to use, just bungee around the seat ( I need to add another bungee to make it super secure).
It was/is a gorgeous day (80's) and I had mega yard work to do,so I brought Amy outside for some good sunshine and a misting bath, and we took a ride to Walmart for some "leaf bags" those biodegradable type and to the donut shop and up to see her buddies the green armed bee bee's.

I dunno..she is a totally different bird when she is out and about in the car with me. The Salty perch sat kind of low (she couldn't see out the windows ) and the perch area is right even with the center console of my car.
She was DETERMINED to sit on my shoulder,to look out the windows! I'd put her on the perch, and she immediately turned around, walked over/across the console to climb my arm and get on my shoulder!
After 4 or 5 times of this,I gave in,and let her ride on my shoulder,a typical,STUBBORN Amazon!

But she truly enjoyed herself. she rubbed her beaky across my cheek, see nibbled my earlobe and preened my eyebrows, even mumbled amazon stuff in my ear...she has never been that lovey really..maybe it was her way of saying THANKS DAD for taking me along.

Just a side note here..while at Walmart some idiot woman came up to us and said "that ain't no real bird" as she reached out to pet Amy..I told the woman "Well...when she bites you and draws blood, tell me again how not real she is" and as if on cue,Amy fluffs up and says HELLO?
The womans jaw dropped to the ground, looks at Amy then me,and turns and scurries off..don't mess with a 'zon lady! :D

Once again, Amy does the Amazona Family proud!

Love the concept! Great job Al!

Possibly a minor change or two would help Amy be more comfortable on the seat stand. The upper arms maybe a couple inches (50 mm) longer (minimum) to allow Amy to face forward and not have the tail feathers into the seat back. Also, possible a bit taller to allow Amy to look out of the window. That's a bid deal with our Julio. Also a great surprise for the driver of the car you are passing! :D

FYI: Possible a Tee at the seat in place of the 90 to gain more stability.
