I have seen this question asked many times on the Forum, regarding safe Wood and Plants for our Birds.

Non-toxic for birds list and a list of things that are toxic for birds.

Seems like the more complete a list is, the more questions I have, and that's the most complete list I've seen. For example, we have a Bay tree in our yard the wife planted to get Bay leaves for flavoring, etc. It's not listed. However, our birds have always liked the leaves and blossoms, and I use the limbs for perches on the playstands.
