Safe shredding toys ?

ebay links don't seem to work here. If you click on it it goes to something about John Belushi, which is the exact same thing that happened to an ebay link I posted!

Get her some of those pine cones I told you about. Also Merlin has some toys that are made out of like basic weave that she likes to shred. A big ball of knotted cotton rope to preen can work good, too. There is a lady on ebay who makes them and calls them "block mops". If she doesn't have any on ebay right now, she can make you one if you contact her.

JIM,.....lol, that's odd ?
Do you happen to have her seller name or link ?

I have a stainless skewer and I put those drink holders made out of corrugated cardboard that you can get at 7-11, wawa, neighborhood convenience store( even McDonalds) etc....cut it into 4 pieces and punch the skewer through it, it can hold 4-5 drink holders cut up... also I have a Stainless Steel Foraging Cage that I put shredded paper into(i get the shredded paper from the shredder at work) and then hide some treat inside it

That is an awesome idea to get shredded paper from work. I'm going to have to look into that and see if I can have some.

Duh, lol! Her name on ebay is "abirdtoy". I'm going to see if she can make me bigger ones for Merlin and Pete. Rowdy has one, and my BCC used to go through one every few weeks. She will combine shipping if you buy more than one item. She could fit 3 of the conure sized block mops in a priority mail envelope for me.

I'd be a little careful with the shredded paper if you have a mature female bird because she may decide to nest and lay eggs.

broccoli stalks, heads of broccoli, i finally won the green battle with the nut, i tie them upright onto a perch with leather, and she spends ages picking of the head or getting at the core
