So, in my area, there are some silk-floss trees that people have planted. They give these seed pods with a silky fluff that surrounds the seeds in the middle. I was thinking about giving one to my parrots to chew (after it's been sanitized).
Do you think it's safe?
Also, as a side note, some wild parrots here eat these seeds (They actually used to be someone's pet, but that person decided to release their birds, and they survived by eating the seeds from tropical trees that people have planted. Now there are wild parrots living here.
