is there any bird safe rodent repellent? it’s getting into colder seasons here and mice tend to get into our house every year. we put out live traps and usually catch most of them but is there a bird safe repellent i can use indoors/around the house to prevent mice from entering my home? i’ve yet to buy/try anything since i know i birds are sensitive to a lot of sprays and smells.

I have faced pests, from ants to coyotes, and it's a real challenge!
Double-sided tape, wound around cage legs, is a low-tech thing for small in-house pests... of course you have to deal with the hapless captive...pretty awful.
Other than that, here's a thread that I have seen passed around here.

Safe nice repellent?
Is fresh cab rodent repellent safe around birds? Was thinking about putting a bag in a plastic container with holes in it under the bird cages to try and keep mice away but wanted to make sure it was safe to use first! ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Balsam Fir Oil, a botanical pesticide....2.0% INERT...
