Hi everyone! So i was at one of my favorite local pet stores and found this adorable hamster play set. I checked the measurements to make sure Pumpkin could not get his head stuck and it seems safe to me. It was the only one so i went ahead and got it. But i figure i should run it by the experts before taking any chances. I did NOT attach the swing tunnel because i was worried he could get stuck in it. What do you all think? Im excited about it.

With parrots, one never really knows what will ring their interest. I am guessing that this is likely a series of plastic tunnels connected together. Some parrots will have a greater interest than others.

Regarding whether the hamster play set will be safe is dependent on your parrots interest in breaking off small pieces. Small sharp pieces of plastic represent a problem. Even more of a problem if one of more get inside your parrot.

It says it is all natural wood. I would think it would be fine, unless the wood is a type not safe for birds. I will be watching this thread as my little Cisco would love that!!

It looks safe to me as you took out that swing tunnel. However in the first few weeks with the toy i would watch him to make sure that he does not have an accident. Anyway how's pumpkin ? :D
