I have an opportunity to meet a Rubino Rosella that is supposed to be rare? Does anyone have a good definition of the character and type of bird this is? What would be expected of him?
Ad: He is 2 yrs old was a hand fed baby. Loves to whistle he can do a couple songs and wolf whistles. Loves his fruit n veggies. Full Feather and very healthy, He may need a little
handling to get him back where he was. Ive not had much time to play with him due to my illness. He is not a noisy bird they are not screamers or squawkers.
Any thoughts?
BTW I have a picture also....no idea how to add it to the thread....tried, hope it comes through....

When I bought my linnie the breeder had a baby hand fed rubino and she was selling it for $300. Rosellas are nice quiet birds, but I wouldn't say they are particularly hands on.

I LOVE rubino rosellas! I wish I were closer - I would be thrilled to give him a home!

Any information on rubino rosella's would be appreciated. Size? Loud? Friendly? What is their diet like? Cage type and size? What should I expect?
