After lots of cleaning and sanitizing her cage was finally ready!
I brought her out in a carrier, and I held her against my chest with her wings pinned to her sides bringing her back in. I really need to find a safer way to bring her back inside...
I still have to buy new perches, so I just brought her rope perch out, and I had cut down a eucalyptus branch a week earlier. It needs casters, it has some but one was chewed up by the cockatoo who used to live in it.
Rosie is enjoying the outdoors. The eucalyptus tree's make a great dappled light/shadow that works great. Rosie gets her sun but isn't in full sun.
Looking up at the trees
Waving and being cute
When I brought her back in I set her down on a kitchen chair, then went back out to get her rope perch and toys, and water dish(the cages bowls were in the dishwasher running on sanitize for the second time)
Either she was startled, or just wanted to be with me, and she started flying. I ran to the screen door and pressed my hand to it so she wouldn't hit a window trying to get to me. The only time she would hit a window is if I were outside, that's only happened once. The screen worked great, she was able to grab it and I carefully opened the door a foot and slipped inside.
