last year i bought a breeding pair of adalaide rosellas which bred in doors in a medium size cage,i had 7 babies and i hand reared them,i sold them all in one day and had over 50 phone calls from people wanting to buy one,so this year i bought a pair of rubinos, a pair of mileys, a pair of crimsons, and a pair of golden mantils,all are dna sexed and 2 years old,unfortuanately i dont have an aviary for them but i have placed each pair in a medium sized cage in my spare room,2 pairs have laid eggs but were all infertile,the other pairs show no signs of breeding and wont got in to the nest boxes,why wont they breed is it because they can see and hear each other,ive put a board up to divide each cage so they cant see each other now but still they show no signs of entering the boxes,what am i doing wrong?
