Looking fab, when is it you get to pick him up? :)

My sun and Jenday conure have exactly the same cage. Even the same color. I love it. It is easy to clean and my conures love it! Great choice!

Thanks! Happy to hear a good review on it!
I was worried it may be too small for an eclectus, but i figured between me being home all day and the play top it will mainly be used for sleeping or the few hours im not home during the week. If things change and im around less i can always upgrade. :)

It's very similar to the one I bought Merlin. I was concerned it might be a bit too small, but after finding out she's blind, the vet said it was good I bought the smaller one. She's pretty active though and it seems to have enough room for her. She can exercise her wings in it, it's easy for her to find everything, and she seems to like it. It is easy to clean, easier than my other cages. I might get one for Rowdy and try to modify it so it's higher off the ground. Merlin likes being low, but Rowdy likes being high. I was thinking of cutting off the legs and setting it on a table. Of course it's heavy tough and no wheels would make it hard to move around.

19th isn't that far off!

I'm sure there's some similar ones that are like 'half' that Roxy, so Rowdy doesn't have to have the lower part. (?) or are you wanting something thats just as big but... higher?

I hate Rowdy's cage. It's the hardest one to clean. It is painted rather than powder coated and you really really have to scrub to get the poop off. And she poops on the bars everyday. Also the way the food doors open, they are always getting pooped on also and they are a total pain to clean. And it has this big plastic bottom, which I guess catches a lot of her poop that might otherwise fly out of the cage, but it's hard to get off and clean as well.

She does make a lot of use of her cage, and she is the most active bird though, so it should be a pretty good size. I suppose I could get her the same one Pete has as it's up tall with long legs on the base. But, now that I have Merlin's cage I realize Pete's is not as easy to clean as Merlin's, lol! I just may have to do a bunch of cage shopping here and see if I can find one up high like Pete's, but with the bar set up like Merlin's. Merlin doesn't end up with dust and food stuck between the bars with the way the bars are welded, unlike Pete's.

Now you have me thinking about it, Mayden, lol! I love how easy Merlin's cage is to clean. I can have that whole thing disinfected in like 10 minutes. I think I am going to get one for Rowdy and put it up on a platform. I can always add wheels to the platform, and keep the playtop on my end table so she isn't up where I can't reach her (she has that height dominance thing).

Either that or I save for the aluminum cage I'd like to have for Merlin so she can't hurt herself chewing on the grate and I give her cage to Rowdy.

Nice!! I have a slightly smaller (like one size smaller) and domed top version for Sugar. I didn't think it'd be enough room, but We're thinking that with all the outside cage time she'll get, it'll be just right. Plus she's currently housed in something much smaller and doing alright.

Good luck on the 19th! And take pictures!
