Hello from New Brunswick, Canada (hope this gets in the new member section because I don't know my way around here yet.
I am new to this site but not new with birds. I bred, raised, sold and trained pet birds for a number of years. But now I just keep a couple of special bets. I gave a green c. conure named Caillou who is eight years old now. I trained him to do 19 different tricks. A couple of etsyears I did shows with him and he was in our local summer exhibition. A video was posted on UTube of him under title Caillou The Show Bird.:rainbow1: He is a very intelligent bird and could learn just about anything I would teach him. Recently, much to his dislike, I purchased an IRN, aged three months, and named him Oiseau Bleu (translated is Blue Bird):blue2:. Caillou hates Bleu and would kill him if I left them alone. But they seem to be getting along much better now although they keep mostly away from each other. Even though Bleu is bigger he is scared to death of Caillou. But maybe soon they will get more friendly with each other. Bleu is now doing a couple of tricks and has started to talk. But he also can make a lot of noise.

Welcome aboard to you & your fids, Roary.....

Re: Flboy
Thank you and nice to know someone on here that has some first hand knowledge of where I live. But right now my birds and I would love to be where you are. Nothing but snow, snow, snow here still. Caillou & Bleu sit on a perch in the window looking at the snow.......& probably wondering what the heck it is.
Roary.

Re: Allee
Thank you. And as soon as I get myself familiar with getting around this forum I will post some photos of Caillou and Bleu. At the moment I am not even sure I am making these replies properly. But I'll learn eventually.

That's my Caillou. He also later learned to ride a skooter, to skate board & to put various coloured blocks into their various slots, a toy designated for use by a two year old child. So you can see how smart these little birds are. At the shows I did people were absolutely amazed at what this little creature could do. Glad you found the video.
