- B&G Macaw, Galah, 5 cockatiels, 50 billion and a half budgies. We breed and do rescue. Too many to list each individual's name and age etc, but they are each individuals and loved dearly.
One of the new budgies, Trixie, the half-english hen who is the reason there are ties on the cages in quarantine, and things shoved under the door(clever gal not only broke out of cages, but she slipped under the door once and I had to catch her before the cat did) passed away last night. She prolapsed an egg she was trying to lay. I found her this morning.
But of course, the old owner didn't over breed these birds, starve them, and deprive them of calcium, nooo. He neeever bred a bird until they "blew out".
If there is justice at the end of it all, that evil man will suffer at the hands of whatever deity or deities.
RIP Trixie, I'm sorry your time with me was so short.
