RIP Posy

Little Posy passed away today. She was the sweetest and happiest little parakeet. Posy was my first bird and filled me with joy for the 5 years I had her. I hope everyone gives extra cuddles and love to their birds for me!

Violette, I am so sorry to hear about Posy. My first (two) were parakeets & I lost one of them recently. Even though in her case, it was expected, it wasn't easy. Condolences and please remind yourself what a great life you gave Posy.

She was a little over 5 years old.

It was sudden, she started experiencing a lot of symptoms of illness over 2 days and the next day when I took her to the vet it was too late. I'm still waiting for the necropsy results.
