Introducing Rio the cockatiel. Cockatiels are great - coming from a non bird person. Rio made me overcome my uncertainty around birds. He helped me gain confidence. He's the cutest and happiest bird ever! If I whistle he whistles over me and I can't beat him and it's too funny! He doesn't bite and just loves to sit with the kids and us through a movie preening our hair. He does have his moments where he needs his space and he lets us know. Cockatiels are perfect for a new bird owner.

Rio is a beautiful cockatiel! I have to agree cockatiels are pretty awesome. I love cockatiels and budgies.

Very pretty cinnamon tiel Rio is.... or at least I THINK he's a cinnamon? Your tiel's lighter in grey than mine... very pretty
