Riley-white faced grey cockatiel (hatch date 6-28-2014) RIP Halloween-pied cockatiel
I have ordered Rileys cage today along with the pre sized liners. I can't wait til it gets here so I can set it up. Once its set up I will post pics of it. Riley will love it:grey:

That is exciting! It is so much fun to set up a new cage in anticipation of your baby's homecoming:) When will it arrive?

The cage should be here by Thursday and Riley should be coming home by the 22nd of September at the latest. All depends on when she decides to wean and fledge.

Well love known for a couple weeks which cage I wanted to get her but since I'm worried about button my grandmother's tiny kitten that I'm convinced has worms because she eats like an elephant but you cab still feel every bone in her body when you pet her we ordered flea meds vaccines and dewormer for both kittens and got Riley's cage and liners as well since its all off the same site I will be paying her back for the cage and liners as well as covering half the flea meds cost on Friday

So everything but the cage will be here tomorrow. I got a call (went to voice mail) from the drs foster and Smith website today explaining that the cage was only able to be shipped through ground shipping but because the vaccines have to be shipped 1-2 day air which is what we paid for they are shipping. The cage through ground shipping but everything else will be shipped via air and according to the tracker it will be here tomorrow at 10:30am which in the past has always been right. However I will be at work when it arrives so I will have that excitement for over half my shift tomorrow. I love getting packages containing animal supplies especially if I know its gonna make them better :)

Just got the confirmation email that Riley's cage will arrive Monday by the end of day so 5pm-ish I can't wait I want to have it all set up before she comes home. I have a tendancy to over crowd with toys but I will try to keep it limited.

Hard not to get carried away with cages and toys isn't it? So exciting, I know you can't wait to have Riley home with you. Can't wait to see Riley's new cage and toys. Have fun!

I have a few toys I can attach to the side of the cage (mostly foraging toys) I will definitely attach them and have a few yummy treats in there or seeds. And I'm going to try to keep it limited to 4-6 perches. As I said in another posting while I had planned to get her on the 7th but she might be coming home Tuesday. So its a good thing the cage gets here Monday.
