It's a macaw thing...

My greenwing hangs by one foot from the top of her cage similar to that first photo, and beak wrestles with my face, with her head upside down like that.

They're just goofy that way!

The roll-ey poll-ey thing really is a lot more pronounced though in the BTM's and the RFMs though. Gotta love that stuff.

OMG Precious!! Zoe sure has some personality! Gorgeous colors as well. I can stare at a BTM all day because of that color!
