I have only partially returned from my break online, with news and questions that need telling and answers. I will post them in proper thread latter. But I return with same company/flock Pepe who safly still has not found a mate, or rather I have not found one for him... But at our local petstore where I bu his seeds and grains I did find a baby handfed Jenday for 250$ but I only had 120$ and plans to buy a bird.. It turned out I purchased a pair of budgies male and female named them Jerry(green bellied) and Marie(blue bellied), they have given great company to pepe and have all bonded by preening and grooming one another and cuddling for warmth. The budgies are starting to mate aswell. But sigh.... from seeing and hearing the wild Conures that live in our area I wish I could catch one. On another note I purtied up the cage wih toys and accessories so the companies happy!! And also, just now I have my Dusky at a window purch, I am spying on him nd he just stares at the moon. And when I make noise or movement he does a *purrr*ing sound I've never heard till now. He does the ''chatter teeth'' noise I taught him-- its his way of recognizing it's me.
