Rescue takes in 35 birds in TX.

thats the link to the log in page of facebook right ?

I wish I lived in a very large home so I could take in needy birds. It breaks my heart to see them all.

I feel the same way. I'm a softy when it comes to animals and children. At least that's what my wife says every time we pass by a pet shop and she's draggin me by the arm away from the front door as I'm pulling the door open.

Nothing wrong with that! I'm the same with animals, I would take them all home if only I could. I'm also studying teaching and hope to work in a primary school actually. Better to be a softie then one of these horrid abusive people any day ;)

I'm more of an animal person than a kid person... I know it sounds mean but when I see a kid i'm like "Ew, get away from me." But when I see a cute dog or any animal at that, my heart melts. :)

haha, I'm the same way, kids are sticky and noisy lol. I can deal with noisy but I have this serious issue with feeling sticky and for some reason almost every kid I encounter under the age of five always has some sort of weird sticky stuff on them somewhere lol.

I added the rescue as a friend on my facebook and was looking at some of the birds. They didn't actually take in all 35 of the birds, they removed all of them from their situation but I think the birds are at two or three different rescues. The ones that this rescue did take in look absolutely horrible! It's so sad, the one is completely crippled and cannot perch or stand and a few others have their beaks so far overgrown that the upper beak has actually cracked through the lower beak. I don't understand how people can look at animals like this everyday and think that that is okay, it's just sickening.
