i am thinking about replacing the casters on my GW's cage, they have taken a beating rolling the cage from inside to out on nice days...i'm assuming that lowes/homedepot would carry them, but i'm not sure how easy or hard this will be..has anyone done this??

You can buy most replacement casters at homedepot or lowes. Take one off and you should be able to find replacement. They just screw off the cage. You need to use a wrench to remove it though

we rented a cargo van to bring home all the cages we got when we got the bird, and fortunately this particular cage was in 2 pieces, the base and the cage, so we didnt need to put it together, just slid the top part onto the base, so im not sure how to take them off...i guess it will be my project this week :)

It should be screwed on casters.... I haven't seen one that wasn't...
