Reliable Blue and Gold Breeders in the US that ship?

Hey guys could you recommend any US breeders for blue and golds. I live in NYC so the closer the better.

NYC is a huge city. I would imagine you'd be able to find a few bird stores around you that would sell B&Gs with no shipping necessary. What part of NYC do you live in? I found these places on google:

You also have quite a few rescues nearby too if you might consider adopting a bird in need of a loving home. The first place looks to have many B&G's up for adoption right now. Rescues are pretty good about matching individual birds personalities to what you're looking for in a companion parrot. We got our amazon through a rescue and he's a wonderful little bird! Working with him as an mature rescue was also one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and he's every bit as bonded as a baby would have been. And given the lifespan of these animals, even a 10/20/30 year old bird still has many good years ahead

Thanks. Didn't think about rescues. It will likely cost less and I'll get a bird whose behavior is already known. Friendly, shy, outgoing, etc.

Rescues provide a wonderful service in matching birds with loving homes and offer a lot of resources to new parrot owners who've adopted that pet shops simply do not. Many have classes on parrot care and really work with you to find the right match because they care that the bird ends up in a forever home and that you will have a lifetime companion, not about how much they can make off the sale of a bird. Rehoming fees often just cover the expenses incurred caring for the bird pre-adoption or in the form of a donation to the shelter to ensure care of other birds as they come in.

I don't think you've said yet, what has made you set on a B&G? Will this be your first parrot? A lot of macaw owners on the forum with a lot of knowledge and advice to share! Don't be afraid to ask in the macaw section about any species specific questions or general parrot care questions you may have.

Sorry didn't see this. I'm interested in macaws as a species because they just seem to have such a colorful personality as well as from what I've read more mediocre in hormones compared to other big birds like the cockatoos. Within macaws just attracted to B and Gs because of coloration.
