Hello! So Charlie is doing well and while he likes both me and my partner, he really likes my fiance, Luc (maybe because his original owner was a male). Anyways, one of the things he does to show his affection to Luc is to regurgitate for him. A lot. Every time he is on his hand he is regurgitating for him. We know he is just trying to be nice and show him how much he likes him but is there an end to it? Anyway we can discourage him from doing it so much so that its not an everytime he's on him and the whole time he's on him? While we all like the love, we don't want to just have him constantly love-barfing when he's being handled (by my fiance). Thanks for any advice!

I have the same problem with Gracie. It has gotten much better though. Are there any signs that Charlie shows before he starts regurgitating? For example, Gracie will start off with a little "dance" by turning in circles with her wings dropped and her feet get hot. As soon as I notice her doing this I put her back in her cage and walk away. Do not scold Charlie for this behavior, just simply ignore him and he will soon realize that this behavior will not attract your fiance to him.

Thanks! That is along the lines of what we are trying so its nice to know someone else has had some success with it. Its tricky to deal with as he is just trying to be affectionate so he doesn't deserve to be punished, just gently steered in another direction.
