Redrump and Cockatiel

My Red-rump male and a cockatiel (gender Unknown) are very "friendly". The female Red-rump is chased off by the male. Could the Red-rump and cockatiel (if female) breed?

Yes, they can mate, but no, they cannot hybridize. No fertile offspring will come of such a cross.
