Red Palm Oil

Who here gives their greys Red Palm oil? Where do you getit from? I am ordering some from Drs Foster and Smith, but doubt it's really pure, so I'm asking yall!

I don't but mine have the palm nuts, and love em to bits, I order them in bulk and keep them in the freezer. I'm guessing that would be just as good and beneficial to them as the nuts that have been frozen. Let us know what they think of it.

I don't have any Grey's but I do use Red Palm Oil for my two. I use it for Popsicle to help with her beak which is flaking becuase of her vitamin A deficincy. I use it with Pepsi to help with her feet. I use Sunshine Factor Red Palm Oil which I believe is made by Harrisons. I got it at Parrotdise Perch a parrot store where I live. I believe you can order it off the Harrisons website as well.

A lot of pet stores are now keeping them in, also you can look on the web, can't look right now as my putor is only showing me the UK ones.

With the pet stores, you may have to ask them as they are kept in the freezers.

I looked at two places for Red Palm Oil today, first the pet shop...and then a health food store...neither place has ever heard of it, so it looks like in this part of the world, it's a well keep secret. So now I am on a google hunt..these are the ones I have found so far.

I only was able to find sources for the oil....no luck on finding the nuts. Nuts! LOL...Pam
