Red Front Macaw information

I would love to hear from people who have RFM's as pets. What do you like about your bird....what do you not like? Male or female? I have had mini macaws as pets and this will be my largest parrot. The largest parrot I ever had was a SI Eclectus. I noticed a lot of similarities of behavior of the RFM and how my Illiger's use to behave on Youtube vids. Of course they are different birds but I have to admit I felt a connection with watching these different RFM video's.

Soon I will be getting a male RFM. This depends on how fast I can pay him off to get him home. Until then I would like to learn all about them while I wait for my baby. I am so excited I have come up with a plan of how to quarantine him. This will give us one on one time until he is able to join being in the same place as my noble macaw. We are thinking up names but so far no one agrees on any. I do know he will have a Spanish name.

Also if anyone out there has a noble macaw I would like to know if your bird sounds off by sounding like they are singing opera. It can be loud but sounds too funny not to join in on and egg him on to keep singing it. Makes me smile every time he does it which is every afternoon.

We have been swing by some names lately for the baby RFM. Some that are working are: Valentino, Antonio, Kiko, and Mateo. Made the first payment on the baby and in a couple weeks will make the second payment. Its exciting going through the planning stages but hard to wait for the baby to arrive home.

Are there any RFM owners out there that would like to share their story with me? I am hoping to connect to some people that know about the RFM so I could ask questions. I appreciate any input you can give me. Thanks.
