In asking this question I noticed I no longer have a problem I complained about a year ago.
Skippah used to throw his seed husks for miles spreading them all over the floor. Now I just noticed, His seed bowl is always full, even when Skippah tells me it needs a re-fill. Being the lazy male that I am, I tipped the husks onto the tray under the perch and the Professor flew right to it and started feasting on the husks like he was Rabbi at my house for Xmas Dinner.
Is this safe? All it is is large Parrot food that Skippah wont eat, mixed in with the husks of everything he did eat.
AND,......
Also, I notice the only time the Professor will stay in one place and not on your head or shoulder, is If you put him on Skippahs throne,.... he loves it! He wont get off unless you take him off.
As the days get sunnier I am putting Skippah out side in the Sun/Shade, (He hates it). If I let The Professor onto Skippahs perch, he goes nuts. Prances up and down and explores everything in minute detail. He then goes nuts on his seed bowl(see above). I am not sure what the attraction is. He often tries to get close when Skippah is on his throne, but Skippah always chases him off.
