Rabbit Grass Mats safe or no?

Are those safe for the birds to shred? The grass mats that are made for rabbits?

I have gotten those before and they are safe but, they are small and don't last but a few minutes.

Drs foster and smith has a seagrass mat/pouch for 18.99 that is a good size 12x18 it is stuffed with paper, you can hide treats in it and it should last a little longer.

I order them by the dozen, my fids love them!!!

A super cheap source for seagrass mats, is Old Time Pottery. Dead easy to take the rug apart. Ends up a buck apiece for a 12x12. They even have area rugs which drops the cost to 35 cents each!

I got 2 grass mats. A large one and a smaller one. And a bunch of stuff to hang on them. Gollum likes the little sticks! She has shredded two already!
