My U2 was clipped when I bought him and I'm beginning to think I want to free flight him. He has about half of the outer flight feathers clipped and he can't really descend is he falls that we'll. He is 9 almost 10 months old and hasn't grew any new ones. When will he grow new flight feathers?

A bird's body regulates moulting.....there is no set schedule or anything to sped it up or slow it down, although it is generally understood that most parrot species moult their new plumage just prior to mating season so that they are in their finest in order to attract mates.....

Well my bf zon was clipped last April (2012) worst thing I did, but she's still not got them all back as yet!!!!
As has been said, something that can't be speeded up really. Wish it could then I could make a start on doing the same :)

Thing is I don't know that he was fledged :-( he says four months old when I got him so I'm concerned he won't know how to fly that we'll. I think it would be really fun to have him flighted plus I'm sure he'll enjoy it
