Sorry or the dumb post and excuse me for the stupid question but WHAT is with everyone putting astriks in the word socialized (s******ed)??? What the point in this? Its almost as though this is a foul word. Or is it just you guys way of shortening up the word?

It is a (poorly designed) anti-spam measure in the forum software.

Take a look at the letters dropped out - when one uses the British spelling of the word - and you should be able to figure it out.
