So my GCC is a little over 1 year old. I noticed that just about every time I go up to her in her cage she is shaking. Thinking back on it, I think she's been like this since I got her, but I'm not sure. She doesn't act sick, and acts exactly like I remember her since we brought her home. I know that shaking can be a sign of illness or nervousness, but are there other reasons that could be causing her to shake? Also, once she's outside of the cage and hanging out with us she doesn't shake anymore. Any help is appreciated.

Mine does the same thing; sometimes I'll get him out and while he sits on my finger, there is a barely noticeable shiver/tremor. It goes away as soon as he's been out, so I put it down to initial excitement - it's been happening less and less.

Peanut gets what I call collywobbles! He's just over 6 months old and does it when he wants out of his cage. Sits on a perch and bobs his head and his wings go out from his body a little and he shakes like mad. I wouldn't worry
