Question concerning organic mouse repellent

Hi everyone, I have a question about something I am very cautious of. For the past month or so, I've been having issues with mice. There was a mechanics garage behind me that was unknowingly very dirty. They recently sold the garage and moved out, and I think that's where the mice are coming from, as I've never had this issue before. The mice are attracted to my bird's food, I sometimes catch them underneath the cage looking for food droppings or in the bottom pan of the cage, and this needs to stop ASAP.

I have a 2 year old Blue-Crowned Conure and I'm aware of what's harmful to him, but right now I'm at the point where I need to ask someone that has more knowledge than me. I bought this Shake Away Mouse Repellent. It's a little bag that you place around the house, and it says it's all natural, but I'm still cautious as to whether or not it would bother my Buddy at all.

The active ingredients are Mint Oil, Cedar Oil, and Rosemary Oil. Inactive ingredients are Calcium Carbonate and Hydrogenated Soybean Oil.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Cedar only is my only really concern, that could cause issues but as long as your bird isn't coming into contact with it, it should be okay, but wait till others chime in for opinions.

I honestly don't know how well it will work though, your best bet is prevention outside. I dealt with a similar issue when I was living in my apartment, no matter how clean I kept everything, mice came in because of the other tenants. I eventually had to move. I would call an exterminator and possibly have them spray something outside, as well as patch up any potential entrances.
