Question about double stacked cages

I have one and currently the bottom is empty( I store bird stuff in it).I use the top cage for the tiels.
But I want to move the tiels into a different cage and put the conures in the double stack.
My question is will the one in the bottom cage feel less then?

Basically I wonder if being on the bottom makes a difference to the bird?

Im trying to decide if I just want to sell the double stack and buy two new separate cages.

I have a friend who has 3 single compartment cages stacked on top of each other, with the bottom cage about 18" from the floor and her green cheeks don't seen to mind being in the bottom cage.....she's got caiques in the middle & top cage & those don't seem to have a problem either.....she's had them like this for over 2 years, but she does change the cage positions out occasionally.....

It can change their behavior some, but most birds, from what I've heard, seem to do fine. I've been considering getting a double stack cage due to time constraints... and if I did, I'd have my mitred conure in the top portion and my smaller guys in the bottom.... mainly because it's easier to get him out of the cage than it is from some of the smaller birds... and I'm a short person.

I have a big double stack which has my two Indian ring necks in the top and then my mini macaw on the bottum. They seem to love it and I see no change in behavior really... It is said it can but I believe as long as there is even enough light it should be fine. If you feel unsure week to week you can put the bottum on up on top then the top on the bottum. Kinda like rotating them every week I know a guy that does this and it seems to be ok to.

Okay, I think I will hang on to it and see how it goes.
I figured Id put the Sun at the top, since the dogs might scare him because he is new.
My greenie doesnt mind the dogs at all and will nip thier noses if they put their noses near her cage. But mostly the dogs just ignore the birds except to clean up all those yummy pellets.
