Question about corn cobs...

Hi, sorry i'm active today.. Just bought a huge bag of dried corncobs.. My birds love to pluck the kernels off (they don't eat it)

Well anyway, I just bought a huge bag from a feed store... Should I be worried about any bugs/mites or pesticides on it? It's dried corn cobs but I'm just a little concerned because I bought it from a different store.
I usually get them at walmart in a bundle of 3 but walmart has discontinued them.

Does anyone else give their birds this? It makes a huge mess but he LOVES IT.

Need Idea. Never thought about it. I do feed him Fresh Corn on the cob but yeah he eats that. Interested if anyone else does this also.

yeah, I also pop the kernels he pops off so he can have a little popcorn treat every once in a while he loves it! Beware though... There are corn kernels scattered across my whole house LOL!
