Hi there!
I've noticed that when Piper is contented and near me she makes a very very quiet noise that sounds like that little popping noise when you part your lips. Like a dull thus or quiet popping noise that's not high pitch or shrill. She usually makes 3 "popping" noises in a row. They are whisper quiet. Its Not a breathing problem as she does this on purpose and only when she is happy and near me. If I make the noise to her, she repeats it back to me. Its not like when she repeats a word or learned noise.. this seems innate.
Do all parrots do this? Anyone else heard it?
