- Charlie the birdie, yellow naped amazon and little bird, a monk parrot , and Polly -yellow crowned amazon
I was wondering how many people have both Amazons AND Quakers? I have had my Amazon for about 4-5 years and about 3 1/2 years for the quaker. The Quaker was SUPPOSED to be my daughter's bird but somehow ended up as mine (of course) She is quite the little character! She has NO CLUE she is not as big as an Amazon. Charlie (the Amazon) has zero interest in being Little bird's (the Quaker) buddy. Charlie thinks he is an only bird. Last Thanksgiving we were given another Amazon (because I am crazy and can't say no) but this one has had flockmates before (mom and dad were around for few years) so maybe Little bird can have a buddy? I have to be careful, I know! I learned this at Little bird's expense when she landed on Charlie's cage the first year and he mangled her toe So how do I go about trying again? Any thing special that might help?
