If anyone lives in Md. or nearby I am posting the information on a found Quaker. For once it is not a lost one. We are in the middle of another blizzard so it is a good thing the bird was found.

A Quaker was found on Sunday February 7, 2010 in a church at Harford Rd and Putty Hill Road. It is banded 274 CTP MI. Contact Yvonne at 410-705-1488.:green2:

Follow up on this posting: The missing guardians of this parrot have been found. Happy story, especially because we are in the midst of a horific blizzard here in Maryland. The guardian posted a lost message on craig's list and someone from my bird club saw it and knew of the found parrot.

So happy the parrot was reunited with his guardian.
Thank goodness the bird survived the horrific blizzard in Maryland.
Great ending, can just imagine the relief the owner is feeling.
Think how relieved the bird is Home Sweet Home

Antionette they found the parrot huddled in a church window ledge. Someone was looking out after the bird for sure.

They should have the bird ordained. LoL
The bird new a safe and holy place to wait, to be found.
PS do you know the name of the church, just curious?

No name of church mentioned. Just said a lady who was allergic to birds found the bird and called the club. I wonder if she did not have an allergy if she would have kept the bird.

Thank goodness she had the sense to call the club.
Kept the bird or not????? don't know, but she did the correct thing after all.
