Quaker bobbing head and slightly flapping wings. help?

Hey again guys. My adorable quaker, keeta, has this odd thing where she bobs her head and sorta flaps her wings a small bit. I checked the forum, nothing. I checked google. people were saying they do that when they beg for food, or looking for attention. She does it even after she just ate, and she does it when I pet her. I wouldnt see why shes looking for attention when shes getting petted. Is this a sign that shes happy, or she wants to be left alone? It seems quite rare that she would want to be left alone, she cant stand leaving me.

The head-bobbing combined with wing-fluttering is usually associated with the begging behavior of a baby Quaker. As they get older, many Quakers will continue head-bobbing, most often when they want something (like anything you might be eating and want you to share, or something they think might be fun to play with or chew up). Sometimes, a Quaker will do the head-bob to show that they like something, or are just contented; I doubt if it ever means "leave me alone." Keeta may just be telling you that she's happy to be with you.

My AG Mishka bops her head and flaps her wings when she gets excited or want something to eat.

Sterretjie does this all the time. Ant usually cant stop laughing when she hears Sterretjie doing this over the phone.

Awesome! Thanks for all the help! I just got her a few days ago and it didnt really look like something good. She eats like a pig and I give her all the attention in the world. After I get home from school or work, I usually take her out and let her sit on my shoulder and play with my hair while I study . Glad to hear though! Big sigh of relief!

My baby does this too, usually when i start speaking to him or go near the cage, i'm glad it means something good too.

They are "quaking" normal for young Quakers...usually means they are begging for something... But not always.. not to worry nothing bad most grow out of it by the time they are 2

Yeah, my quaker was about 6 months old when I got her and she did this for a while. It is rare for adults to do but not uncommon in adolescent quakers. She grew out of it, but I always thought it was so cute.
