Ruppells Parrot
recently added this amazing parrot to my family. Open to advice from all bird lovers :) :white1:

Welcome, I also have a Ruppell's parrot :)!

It's hard to find much "real life" info on them since they're a rare species, but I do see similarities in my male Griffin, to my Red Bellied parrot and other Poicephalus. Griffin is much more active, high strung, and overall not as easy going as my Red Bellied parrot.

Griffin is the absolute QUIETEST parrot I've ever heard. Both quiet in volume and how frequently. He makes the most adorable squeaky 'baby' noises I've ever heard. He says hi, and occasionally 'good boy' but only in the morning under his cover. He's not a talker like my other boys. He's also the "cutest" parrot I've ever had or seen lol.

Hi :)
Well there's one I haven't heard off before!
*runs off to google....*

Congratulations! We really do want photos of your beautiful new addition!

New one on me also. Never heard of one of those. One of the amazing things about parrots, always something new to learn.
Congratulations and welcome!

He is amazing and yes very quiet but also very talkative. Il post some pictures once I figure out how....

Uploaded some into album will try to figure it out on computer later, not working from my tab
