Alright, I made a forum about them before. My two green cheeked conures Bella and Zora don't exactly trust my hands. I read a lot about clicker training, so i decided to try it out. It was success, sort of. Well, my family just moved and we're unpacking all these things, so I don't go out much anymore. I couldn't get a proper clicker until things 'settled down', or so my parents say. So today, I ended up using my toungue to mae a click noise. It seemed to work. They understood it instantly, Zora got it better than Bella(Bella's a shy one :).) They'll go anywhere on their playtop or cage to get a tiny sliver of apple. Now Bella trusts me more and will take treats from me! However, when I say "Target!" and the chopstick is on my hand, they don't budge. Once they realize they HAVE to go on my hand to target, they give up and just kind of sit there staring at the chopstick. It was only their first try, and they were doing good, so I gave them a rest and let them play. I'll try again tomorrow (I'll TRY to get it on video, no promises, I'm not sure if I now exactly how.) Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Maybe I should get something yummier rather than apples for more motivation? I'm not sure, they're doing great for their 1-2 time, so I'll be patient. But any tips would be appreciated. I'm REALLY sorry this is so long, lots of info. Thanks guys. ;)

Well, I tried that... They just seem to not like being handled. I kind of got to scratch Bella today! They get better every week. It's just the hands they run from...

Im having the same problem with my 18 month old amazon bobby so im target training him and he is making rapid progress he gets closer to me as the days pass by just stick at it and im sure eventually you will be able to handle them good luck!

Yah, I'm keeping at it. I'm glad Bobby's getting better too!
