problem with midges

Good day everyone

I would just like to know if anyone has a solution to keep midges away from a macaw food bowl - i do clean Riley's dishes everyday when she gets fresh food and every day there is a problem with midges

Try setting out shallow dishes of vinegar. Of course, any older food to be discarded.
