Preening

I don't know about you but I find watching my bird preen to be very relaxing.

I shot about 20 min of Nike preening but edited it down to the last 4 minutes or so. Nike seems to have a much more luscious plumage than my Amazon did. When she ruffles it all up I just want to grab her and giver her a noogie

Amazons as a family have a very like number of body and downy feathers. The 'luscious' of the plumage is effected by health issues that in your other Amazon's case 'may' have been underlying. A ball of Amazon is pretty much a ball of Amazon regardless of size or species.

Sadly truly, but tons of Amazon Lovers, (myself included) love Hawk heads to a point that they have long, long ago be lovingly included into the Family!
