So I've been wanting to expand on Lincoln's primary chop recipe but I'm having a hard time finding a good lot of variety. For example; I cannot find milk thistle in anything but a powdered form. Is it okay to use the powdered form in his chop for the nutrients?

Hmmm, I vaguley remember EllenD saying the powdered form was the best.
(just no idea in which thread)

(I have the liquid atm, but want to get my hands on powdered asap.)

You can always grow your own thistles if you have the space and time ;)
and any other herbs you and Lincoln might like of course.

Yes, the powdered form of Milk Thistle is fine. The liquid forms are simply the powdered forms compounded into an oral-suspension. Just make sure that if you are using the powder from any Milk Thistle "capsules" instead of just straight Milk Thistle powder that there aren't any "fillers" inside of the capsules; most will contain gelatin, which is fine, but some of them put other fillers inside that aren't fantastic....

I find that powdered-supplements are much easier to give animals in-general than liquid ones, because you can easily mix it into their food, like seed-mixes or chop recipes...For example, I give my birds their powdered Probiotics mixed into their daily portion of seed-mix, and I give my Beardie her daily Probiotics by crushing a tablet and adding the powder to the Calcium and Multi-Vitamin powder that I dust her live insects in.

I ended up going with a capsulated powder because that was all that was available to me. It was in a vegetable based capsule and the sales associate assured me that it was JUST milk thistle as fillers were a worry to me too. It was a wholefoods brand, I don't have the bottle around me right now but I can take pictures of it later if you'd like.
