So i'm kinda considering getting another bird as a buddy for my Sennie, mainly for during days when we aren't home , cause lord knows we can't leave the cage door open, i don't think the cats and dogs would play nice with him lol. I'd love something bigger or similiar in size not bigger to where it'd break fingers ie MACAW,(and because we have 5 & 10yr old boys) seeing as how i've read many many stories on here and have kinda figured out each n every bird has their own personality as i've seen in our other pets as well. I was kinda leaning towards a conure cause of how bright and beautiful they are, but i hear they only mimic sounds they don't actually talk, mine talks not alot or aloud, real quiet like but he talks, so i don't know would they have a conversation or just alot of screeching and shrilling. I'd kinda like them to be able to be daytime cage mates even if its just the top, he already has a seperate sleeping/night time cage and yes i know they have to be quarantined for so long and have to get used to each other, don't know if i want another sennie, yes i love mine, just not sure about if boys get along with boys, and if was a girl, and IF they actually mated would have no idea what to do with the eggs if hatched and def don't want babies. Also want it to be able to have the round about the same diet, not so much as the fresh food seeing we let him sample some not everything of our stuff from dinner time. So people if you have any suggestions that would absolutely be wonderful. And YES I KNOW no petco/petsmart fancy pet department stores, their just there to sell not let you put down a deposit and bond with your new friend.
