Broto's are south american parrots that are in fact more closely related to Quaker's aka common Monk parakeets.

Very independant little birds with an attitude a MILE wide; and such loving little personalities...

lols.

Porter HAS to get his way.. if he doesn't he throws temper tantrums throwing his toys around.. banging them and squawking his 'You better gimme that' sqwak.

And when he's done with you.. he leaves as quickly as can be and is back in his cage in a heart beat.

But every now and again just to reassure me that he still loves me he crawls from the cage and sits on my shoulder for all of twelve seconds until I notice him.. then its back to the cage for more stalk and pounce.

He stalks my budgies.. torments my husband and flies to me no matter where I am in the house.

Wolf whistles and gives Kisses quite admirably...

Makes shot gun noises when a movie is on... and in general entertains himself when other members of the flock are in the room.

If we aren't he sulks.. and I mean sulks until I get out of bed.
