pom poms used for art projects?

Can i give my bird pom poms to play with?? They are generally used in art projects. I have a large bag of them and he was quite drawn to all of the colors. Would it be safe?

Hello there, welcome to the forum.

If you're talking about the soft, fuzzy pom poms sold for crafts then I would have to say no, your bird could chew and ingest the fibers, I'm not sure what the pom poms are made of or what kind of dye is used to color them, but I doubt if it's parrot safe.
